The Wytheville Community Center’s state of the art Fitness Facility offer’s 4,000 square feet of brand new Precor Machines, Treadmills, Ellipticals, Adaptive Motion Trainers, Stairmasters, Recumbent Bikes, and a variety of free weight area equipment to meet your fitness goals.
Equipment Orientation
If you need help getting started or just need a refresher on how to properly use the cardio and strength equipment, trained fitness staff are on duty at all times to help you to meet your everyday fitness goals. It is recommended that all participants receive an equipment orientation. Children 12-17 years old are required to complete an equipment orientation before being allowed in the Fitness Area. These individuals will receive an orange orientation card that must be present at all times in the Fitness Area.
- 12-13 Years Old: Cardio Equipment and Nautilus Machines ONLY
- 12-13 Advanced Youth Orientation: Must attend a two-day Advanced Youth Orientation seminar before being allowed to use the free weight area unsupervised.
- Over 18/New Members: Are required to complete an equipment orientation or sign a waiver.

Fit for Life
The Fit For Life Program is a free 12 week exercise, nutrition and weight loss program for Wythe and Bland County Residents. Fit For Life features two weekly exercise sessions and one weekly nutritional lecture presented by a Registered Dietitian. This program is made possible by the Wythe-Bland Foundation.

The Wytheville Community Center offers two full-size racquetball courts located on the second floor adjacent to the climbing wall for your fun and entertainment. Please adhere to the policies and rules for availability and reservations.
Gold level pass plans have unlimited racquetball court time. Silver level pass plans have two hours per week of racquetball court time. Reservations are required for all racquetball court times. Check at front desk for try-it pass plans fees and details.
Racquetball RulesSenior Wellness
The Senior Wellness Program is a free 12 week exercise, nutrition and fall prevention program designed to help Senior Residents (65+) in Wythe and Bland Counties. The programs objective is to help Senior’s improve quality of life by providing low impact exercises to increase cardiovascular function, improve strength, flexibility, balance and fall prevention. Our program inspires participants to have fun and be more active by making it easier to perform daily activities to help lower the risk of disease and disability. This program is made possible by the Wythe-Bland Foundation.

Senior Wellness FlyerWalking/Running Track
The Wytheville Community Center offers a 1/8-mile walking track overlooking the double gymnasium and a 33-foot climbing wall with a challenging overhang. In addition, a spectacular view of the Natatorium which includes a pool, water park, hot tub, therapy pool, as well as racquetball courts, an aerobic studio and the breath taking view of the Blue Ridge Mountains for your enjoyment. Benches are available for taking breaks or socializing and stretching areas are designated. Check at the front desk for tally counters to track completed miles.

The Youth Fitness Challenge Program is a fun and interactive afterschool 6 week fitness and nutrition challenge for 2nd-5th Grade Wythe and Bland County Students. Our goal is to expand our ideas of different ways to challenge our youth to become more physically active and provide health and nutrition education. We plan to present many exciting activities such as rock climbing, weight lifting, relay races, hiking outdoors, sports, kayaking and a variety of other recreational activities. This program is made possible by the Wythe-Bland Foundation.
