Withers Park located at 200 Withers Rd is public park that has become a central area for fellowship and exercise with its walking trail, playground and restroom facilities. The variety of trees and well-manicured landscape in the park gives way to the park’s beauty. The Wall of Honor pays tribute to those from Wythe County who gave their lives in wars or military actions, civic leaders and members of the Wythe County Sports Hall of Fame. Withers Park provides citizens with an informal recreation area and is the site can be rented for special events, industrial and business picnics and socials however tables, chairs or tents are not provided.
